McKenzie Blake Named One Of 25 Tewaaraton Nominees

Senior attacker McKenzie Blake has been named one of 25 nominees for the Tewaaraton Award which is presented each year to the nation's most outstanding player.
Blake is the first Tiger since Kyla Sears in 2022 to be named a nominee, and is looking to become Princeton's seventh finalist all-time when the five finalists are named in early May. Princeton's last finalist was Olivia Hompe in 2017, and the only Tiger to win the Tewaaraton was Rachel Becker in 2003.
Blake is No. 3 in the nation in both goals (61) and goals-per-game (4.7) and she is No. 19 in the country in points-per-game (5.1). She ranks No. 2 in the nation in both shots-per-game (9.7) and shots on goal-per-game (7.2).
