IRCA Names Casler, Aronow & Van Velden To 2025 Athlete Watchlist

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRCA) announced its 2025 Athlete Watchlist Wednesday and Adam Casler, Nick Aronow and David Van Velden of the No. 2 Princeton University men's lightweight rowing team among the honorees.
The watchlist recognizes the top athletes and top emerging talent across the entire landscape of men's collegiate rowing.
Casler, Aronow and Van Velden, each part of the 1V, have played a key role in the Tigers' 3-0 start to the season. They helped Princeton retain the Diamond Challenge Trophy against No. 5 Dartmouth on Mar. 30, retain the Campbell Cup against No. 10 Columbia on Mar. 29 along with the Murtaugh and Fosburgh Cups against No. 6 Navy and No. 7 Georgetown.
Casler was an IRCA First Team All-America selection in 2023 and a Second Team selection in 2024. Aronow collected First Team honors in 2023 and 2024 while Van Velden was named to the Second Team in 2022 and 2023.
