Men's Ice Hockey Presents Team Awards And Celebrates 2024-25 Season At Team Banquet
May 02, 2025 | Men's Ice Hockey
The 2024-25 Princeton men's hockey team gathered together to celebrate the first season under head coach Ben Syer and present the team awards at its annual banquet, celebrating the highlights from this past season and honoring the Class of 2025 along the way.
The Tigers won 12 games this past season, tying for second-most by a Princeton team in a head coach's first season. Four of those wins came against ranked opponents, the most by a Princeton team since the 2017-18 season.
Princeton was 5-2-0 in non-conference play, posting the best non-conference record by a Princeton team since the 2016-17 season.
The Tigers notched a five-game winning streak from 11/29-12/30 -- including a pair of wins over a 12th-ranked Ohio State team -- to record the program's longest winning streak since the 2017-18 season.
Towards the end of the season, the Tigers went to Harvard and picked up their first win in Cambridge since 2012-13. The next night, they knocked off No. 19 Dartmouth in Hanover to complete Princeton's first road sweep of the Crimson and Big Green since 2009-10.
