Ferlito Set For Qualifying Round At ITA All Americans

CARY, N.C.- Alice Ferlito continued her run at the ITA All Americans tournament in Cary, N.C. on Sunday.

The junior needed to win two matches to advance to the qualifying round of the tournament and did just that.

Ferlito defeated Trinetra Vijayakumar of Vanderbilt after dropping the first set, 5-7, 6-3, 6-4. She then went on to defeat an Ivy League foe in Columbia's Malak El Allami 6-1. 2-6, 7-6(1).

Bella Chhiv picked up a win in consolation play over Mathilde Ngijol Carre of Texas in straight sets 7-5, 6-4.
