Women's Swimming & Diving Claims Second After Night One Of Ivy League Championships

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Princeton women's swimming & diving team set two program records, tallied up 112 points and claimed second place after night one of the Ivy League women's swimming & diving championships.
The Tigers got off to a strong start in the 200 medley relay, as Delaney Herr, Heidi Smithwick, Sabrina Johnston and Sophia Sunwoo finished second while setting a new school record with a time of 1:36.64.
Momentum carried into the second event, the 800 freestyle relay, where Savannah Skow, Johnston, Eleanor Sun and Smithwick also placed second and broke another school record, touching the wall in 7:01.92.
Competition resumes tomorrow with prelims beginning at 11:00 AM, followed by finals at 6:00 PM.
