Harvard and Princeton are both 4-0, with Penn right behind at 3-1. All three teams have clinched Ivy League Tournament bids, with the fourth spot coming down to the last weekend among 2-3 Cornell, 1-3 Dartmouth and 1-3 Yale. Harvard will go to Penn on Saturday before coming to Princeton. The women's top seed will host the tournament, set for Feb. 21-22.
Against Dartmouth, Princeton has won 24 straight since a 2003 loss in the Howe Cup tournament, and in Princeton, the Tigers are 22-0 all-time against the Big Green since the first such match in the 1981-82 season. Against Harvard, Princeton won a Howe Cup semifinal in 2024 before Harvard won both meetings last year, including a Howe Cup semifinal rematch. Princeton is looking for its first regular-season win over Harvard since 2013, which was also the year of Princeton's last Ivy League title.
Among Tigers entering the match on lengthy winning streaks, Sam Jaffe enters the weekend with a 10-0 dual-match record while Liyen Teoh, Hermione Cao and Sonya Sasson have each won eight in a row.
