Ivy League Champions! Women's Squash Wins Ninth Straight, Clinches Ivy Share
February 14, 2026 | Women's Squash
With their ninth straight win and Penn's win over Harvard, the No. 2-ranked Princeton women's squash team clinched at least a share of the Ivy League title and will play for the outright title on Sunday when it hosts No. 1 Harvard at noon at the Racquet and Recreation Center.
A Princeton victory over Harvard would give the Tigers the outright championship and hosting rights. If Harvard wins, the teams could finish in a three-way tie with Penn at 1-1 against one another. In that case, the league's tiebreak procedures come into play, beginning with individual match wins among the tied teams, with Princeton already having defeated Penn 6-3 and Penn defeating Harvard 6-3 on Saturday. The exact hosting outcome would then depend on both the margin of Sunday's Princeton-Harvard result and Penn's simultaneous match against Dartmouth.
Princeton's title is its first since 2013 and seventh in program history.
All nine matches in Saturday's win went Princeton's way in sweeps, with Zeina Zein, Alex Jaffe, Emma Trauber, Charlotte Bell, Sam Jaffe, Caroline Eielson, Liyen Teoh, Hermione Cao and Sonya Sasson contributing wins.
