Ivy League Sweep! Women's Squash Defeats No. 1 Harvard, Wins Outright Ivy Title
February 15, 2026 | Women's Squash
A day after clinching at least a share of the Ivy League title, the No. 2-ranked Princeton women's squash team ensured not only that it wouldn't be sharing the title, winning the first seven matches off court to defeat No. 1 Harvard and complete a 6-0 run through the Ivy.
With the win, Princeton will host the Ivy League Tournament Feb. 21-22, opening with a 3:30 p.m. match on Saturday against fourth-seeded Cornell. The winner will take on either second-seeded Penn or third-seeded Harvard in a 3:30 p.m. final next Sunday.
It's the first clean sweep of the Ivy for the Tigers since 2013. Princeton has swept through the Ivy League now in all seven of their title runs, with 2026 joining 1989, 1991, 1998, 2007, 2009 and 2013.
Sam Jaffe, Hermione Cao and Emma Trauber completed a sweep of the first wave of matches, and Sonya Sasson, Charlotte Bell and Alex Jaffe did so in the second wave to put Princeton over the top. Liyen Teoh made it 7-0 before Harvard picked up wins at sixth and first positions.
