March 10, 2026 | Women's Tennis
Three thousand miles. One hundred forty-four miles. There are neutral sites and there are neutral sites.
Either way, the Princeton women's tennis team made itself right at home in its match against Fresno State, which was held at the neutral site of Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo. The Tigers, ranked 37th in Division I, took down Fresno State 4-0, improving to 10-1 to start its three-match trip to California for Spring Break.
Bella Chhiv and Eva Elbaz both had two-win days, as they teamed to win at No. 2 doubles and then both won in straight sets at No. 2 and No. 3 singles. Neither of them lost more than three games in any of their sets.
Princeton took the doubles point with the 6-2 win from Elbaz and Chhiv and also with a 6-3 win at No. 3 from Alice Ferlito and Maren Urata. Madeline Jessup's 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 4 singles accounted for Princeton's fourth point, while the other singles matches were abandoned.
