March 12, 2026 | Women's Tennis
The Princeton women's team has made itself at home at Cal Poly's San Luis Obispo campus during this spreak break. For the second time in three days, the Tigers won a match on the Mustangs' Ronca Tennis Center — a place where the home team hadn't played in a month.
Princeton swept through Cal Poly 4-0 Thursday evening after defeating Fresno State 4-0 on the same courts Tuesday. The win improved the Tigers to 11-1 on the season.
Princeton won the doubles point with wins at No. 2 from Bella Chhiv and Eva Elbaz and No. 3 from Alice Ferlito and Maren Urata. Elbaz was the first to finish a singles match with a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 2, making it a 2-0 Princeton lead.
The remaining two points came from Madeleine Jessup (6-2, 6-3) at No. 4 and from Pearlie Zhang (6-0, 6-4) at No. 6.
Princeton will finish its Spring Break trip in California with a Saturday match at Loyola Marymount.
