Ratcheson Hits .700 to Win Ivy Rookie of the Week

Hitting .700 in a weekend sweep at Harvard and helping lead the Princeton softball team to clinching its fifth consecutive Ivy League title has earned catcher Maddie Ratcheson the honor of Ivy League Rookie of the Week.
Ratcheson shared the award with Columbia pitcher Mads Lawson.Â
With a double and a triple among seven hits in 10 at-bats, Ratcheson slugged 1.000 on the weekend, going 4 for 4 in game two of the series, driving in three runs, and 3 for 4 in game three.Â
Now 17-1 in the Ivy, the Tigers will host Dartmouth this weekend to close out the regular season before hosting the Ivy League Tournament beginning May 7.
