Three Women's Golfers Set For U.S. Women's Amateur August 4-9

A trio of Princeton women's golfers are set to compete at the 126th U.S. Women's Amateur that will be held August 4-9 at The Honors Course in Ooltewah, Tenn.
Junior Olivia Duan, sophomore Sarah Lim and incoming first-year Ysabel Liu will all represent the Tigers at the event as Princeton will account for three of the 156 players competing.
Only Florida (5) and Texas (4) have more active players on their roster competing at the U.S. Women's Amateur than Princeton.

Sarah Lim: 1:54 p.m. EST (Off #10)
Olivia Duan: 2:25 p.m. EST
Duan is making her second start at the U.S. Women's Amateur after reaching the Round of 32 in Match Play last year.
Lim returns to the U.S. Women's Amateur for the third time. In 2025, she lost in a playoff to reach Match Play. The year prior, she reached the Round of 32. Lim is one of nine players in the field with a prior USGA championship to her credit having won the 2024 U.S. Women's Four-Ball alongside partner Asterisk Talley.
Liu is also making a return trip to the U.S. Women's Amateur after playing in the 2025 event. Liu earned her entry into the field by winning the New Jersey Amateur in July.
The tournament begins with 36 holes of stroke play over two rounds held on August 4-5. At the conclusion of those 36 holes, the field will be cut down to the top 64 players who will play Match Play to determine the champion. The 36-hole Championship Match is set for August 9.
The champion receives: A gold medal and custody of the Robert Cox Trophy for one year; Exemption from qualifying for the 2027 U.S. Women's Open at Inverness Club, in Toledo, Ohio; Exemption from qualifying for the next 10 U.S. Women's Amateurs, if eligible; Likely invitation to the 2027 Augusta National Women's Amateur; Likely exemptions into the Chevron Championship, AIG Women's Open and Amundi Evian Championship; Name engraved on 2026 USGA Champions' plaque that will reside in the USGA Museum's Hall of Champions in Liberty Corner, N.J.
