Women's Open Rowing Sees Five Alumnae Medal at World Rowing Championships

PRINCETON – The Princeton Women's Open Rowing team had a stellar World Rowing Championships with five alumnae collecting medals this week.
Hannah Diaz '23 coxed the United States PR3 mixed 4+ to gold (6:46.6) over Great Britain (6:47.8) and France (6:50.73).
In the 8+ Grand Final, Katherine George '25 and Great Britain snagged silver (5:52.7) just in front of the United States (5:53.76) featuring Claire Collins '19 and Camille VanderMeer '23.
Princeton had two more medalists in the 4x Final with Hannah Scott '21 and Great Britain picking up a silver (6:09.78) while Emily Kallfelz '19 and the U.S. nabbed bronze (6:10.33).
Lori Dauphiny's group has had a banner summer with nine total Tigers medaling at world events. Four members of the team medaled at the U-23 World Rowing Championships in July.
