ADA Accessibility & Accommodations
The main entrances at Hobey Baker Rink are ADA accessible. Accessible seating is located in the back along the wall or the indented section of the concourse. If at any time you need assistance, please find the closest event staff for help.
Animals
We ask that you please leave your pets at home. The only acceptable animals in Hobey Baker Rink are certified service animals and service animals in training. Service animals are working animals, an animal that’s sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals. See our full animal policy HERE.
Admission
You must have a valid ticket for admission to Men’s and Women’s Hockey games. Player guests will receive an electronic ticket prior to the game. Princeton Students can get into all ticketed athletic event with a valid university ID and can receive their student ticket at the Box Office. Fans can buy tickets at the box office located at the front of the rink but are encouraged to buy their tickets online prior to arrival, please click HERE for the ticket office’s website.
Seating for Women’s Hockey games are General Admission and fans can choose to sit where they please, the balcony will not be open for women’s games unless otherwise noted.
There are assigned seats for Men’s Hockey games and the designated seat will be indicated on the ticket. If the ticket indicates “Standing Room Only,” fans are asked to stand in the concourse or along the back wall of each section. If you need assistance in locating your seat, please let event staff know.
ATM Locations
There are no ATMs at Hobey Baker Rink. There are two ATMs located in Frist Campus Center located on the 100 level and there are various ATM locations around the Princeton area.
Bags/Backpacks
All bags are subject to search upon entry at Hobey Baker Rink. All prohibited items must be left at home, returned to your vehicle, or disposed of prior to entering the stadium. This policy is consistent to all spectators attending Princeton Athletic Events.
Banners, Signs & Flags
Banners, signs and flags are permitted provided that they are not on a stick or pole. They also must be handheld and not obstructing another guest’s view, in good taste and not offensive in any nature. Event Staff reserves the right to remove these items from possession if deemed inappropriate.
Code of Conduct
Princeton University is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience where Education Through Athletics and the Be A TIGER values are centered. Those values include being Accountable, Team-oriented, showing Integrity, being Growth-minded, Engaged, and perhaps most relevant for our Tiger fans, Respectful.
 
All who attend Princeton Athletics events have a right to expect an environment where: 
 
• Guests will be treated in a consistent, professional and courteous manner by all Princeton event staff. 
• Guests will be allowed to enjoy the events at Princeton venues free from disruptive behavior, including foul, abusive, discriminatory, obscene or threatening language, gestures or actions.  More specifically, Princeton explicitly prohibits such language and behavior that are based on characteristics including, but not limited to, gender, sexual orientation, gender identification, age, race, national origin, religion, military status, disability status or any other characteristic. Obscene or indecent messages on signs or clothing, or obscene or indecent conduct are also not permitted. 
• Guests who are under the influence of alcoholic beverages or any other intoxicating substance who behave in an irresponsible manner will be handled in a prompt and safe manner.
• For ticketed events, guests will sit only in their ticketed seats and show their tickets when requested. 
• Guests will not engage in fighting, taunting, throwing objects, attempting to enter any competition surface or field of play or other conduct that will disrupt competition.  Those who engage in any of these actions will immediately be ejected from the contest. 
• Guests will smoke in designated smoking areas only. 
• Guests will comply with requests from event staff regarding venue operations and emergency response procedures.
 
Event/security staff has been trained to intervene where necessary to help ensure that the above expectations are met, and guests are encouraged to report any inappropriate behavior to the nearest event/security member, or event security personnel. Guests who choose not to adhere to this Code of Conduct will be subject to ejection without refund and potential revocation of season tickets.Code of Conduct
Concessions
Princeton Campus Dining is the concessionaire for Princeton Athletics. Concessions are located in the concourse and will open one hour prior to game time. Concessions include a variety of drinks and snacks.
Outside food & drink are not permitted at Baker Rink. We ask that fans either leave any food or drink items inside their vehicle or dispose of them at the entrance of the facility. Exceptions will be made for approved medically necessary snacks.

Drones
Drones are not permitted at any athletic event on campus.
Emergencies
In the event of an emergency, public address announcements will be made to provide information and initiate an emergency response protocol. Event staff, security personnel and Princeton Police will assist in directing fans appropriately. If you or anyone near you need extra assistance, please notify event staff or security.
Please call 9-1-1 if there is an immediate emergency and communicate the emergency with Event Staff. If there is a non-emergency, please find the nearest Event Staff and if necessary, contact public safety’s non-emergency phone number at 609-258-1000.
Entrances
For Men’s Ice Hockey, fans can enter through either set of doors located at the front of the rink. Both entrances are ADA accessible.
For Women’s Ice Hockey, only the Northwest Doors (to the right of the ticket booth) will be open for fans to enter Baker Rink. This entrance is ADA accessible.
Should a fan require assistance, please find the nearest event staff member.
Event Staff
An Event Manager will be present at every ice hockey game. Event Managers can assist fans and will be the main point of contact throughout the game.
First Aid
If there is a medical emergency, please dial 9-1-1 and locate the nearest Event Staff. If there is not an emergency but still in need of assistance, please find the nearest Event Staff and they will be able to assist you.
Guest Services
If you have any questions or concerns, they should be directed to the nearest Event Staff Member.
Media
All media and press pass requests should be made through the Princeton University Communications office. Please reference the Princeton Athletics Staff Directory to contact the appropriate Athletic Communications representatives.
Merchandise
Merchandise will be available at select athletic events at Hobey Baker Rink. At these events, The U Store will be selling apparel and accessories outside the front entrance directly next to the Ticket Booth.

Parking

Parking for Hobey Baker Rink is in Theater Drive Garage. If Theater Drive Garage is full, overflow parking is located in Lot 20.
Parking for all athletic events is free of charge.
Playing Surface Rules
Princeton University and NCAA regulations prohibit spectators from being on the playing surface, during and immediately after the game. Please utilize regular exits for departure from the venue.
Permitted Items
The following items are permitted at Hobey Baker Rink:
- Banners & Signs (must comply with policies)
- Service animals
- Soft-sided seat back cushions or bench cushions
- Umbrellas (must not block the view of other guests)
Prohibited Items
The following items are prohibited inside Hobey Baker Rink:
- Alcohol
- Animals
- Artificial noise makers (air horns, whistles, clappers, etc.)
- Banners/Flags/Signs offensive in any nature or fixed on a pole
- Bicycles, skateboards, scooters & roller blades
- Firearms or weapons of any kind
- Fireworks
- Glass bottles & cans
- Illegal Drugs
- Laser Pointers
- Outside food and beverage
- Tobacco products
For safety reasons, fans will be refused entry if they are in possession of prohibited items. Illegal items will be confiscated. If a guest is found inside the venue with prohibited items, the items will be confiscated, and the fan may be ejected from the facility.

Re-Entry
Re-entry is not permitted at Men’s or Women’s Ice Hockey Games.
Restrooms
Restrooms for both men and women are located in the main concourse on either side of concessions. There is also a single use restroom on the main concourse.
Smoking Policy
All forms of smoking are prohibited on campus, including electronic cigarettes.

Ticketing
Tickets ARE required for Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey games. Player guests will receive an electronic ticket prior to the start of the game. The ticket office highly encourages all fans to use this LINK to purchase their ticket electronically prior to getting to the rink. The ticket booth is located at the front of Hobey Baker Rink.
Princeton Students can get into all ticketed athletic events with a valid university ID. At ice hockey games, students can recieve their ticket by visiting the Ticket Booth at Baker Rink.
Television Broadcasts
Princeton Athletics’ home competitions, as well as Ivy League away contests will be streamed on ESPN+. Subscriptions can be purchased at Plus.ESPN.com. Select events may be broadcasted nationally on ESPN linear or locally on regional television networks. Please reference individual sport schedules or local TV listings for broadcast dates and times.
Weather Protocols & Policy

WIFI & Internet Access
Wireless internet access is available for all fans and visitors through our “puvisitor” network. Some sites may be restricted while using the university WIFI.
