Coach Tufo came to Princeton in January of 2017 and is the strength and conditioning coach for Football, Field Hockey, Men’s and Women’s Squash, and Men’s and Women’s Golf. He also assists with the football program.
Prior to Princeton, Coach Tufo worked for Rutgers football from 2005 to 2016, working his way up to associate director of strength and conditioning. Before Rutgers, he served as a graduate assistant for The University of Connecticut strength and conditioning department while earning a master’s degree in kinesiology. Tufo began his career in strength and conditioning as an intern at Princeton University in 2002 while he completed his undergraduate degree in exercise science from The College of New Jersey. Coach Tufo is a certified member of the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
