Born August 8, 1991...son of Boota and Shelley deButts...both parents graduated from Princeton in 1980...father was captain and MVP of lacrosse team...mother was captain and MVP of soccer team...father serves as CFO at Episcopal High School...mother is an ESL professor at Northern Virginia Community College (the 2nd largest in the country) and coaches girls' JV squash at Episcopal...older sister Lindsey '12 was a three-time All-Ivy, two-time All-America and Goodfellow Award recipient as a defender on women's lacrosse team... younger brother Austin is a sophomore on the Princeton lacrosse team.
