Phillip Clayman is in his second season as a volunteer assistant with Princeton men’s water polo in 2020.
The Princeton men's squad went 16-15 overall in 2019 and advanced to the NWPC Tournament Championship for the second straight year.
Prior to this time at Princeton, Clayman played four years at Pomona-Pitzer where he led the team in goals and steals as a senior, earning a Division-III second team All-America accolade. Also, that year he earned Honorable Mention All-America as part of the 200-freestyle relay with the swim team.
Clayman is a PhD candidate in the Princeton Chemistry department where his research is focused on the development of new enzymatic reactions.
