An All-Ivy League honoree who played in 67 games at Princeton and helped the team to the 2015 Ivy League title, Jesse McDonough '17 joined the Princeton women's soccer coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2021 season, helping lead the team to an NCAA at-large berth and a first-round win to cap a season that saw the team win 15 games and turn in 11 shutouts in 19 tries.
As a senior, McDonough earned NSCAA All-Mid-Atlantic Region and first-team All-Ivy honors while leading the team with five assists to finish her career with 17 helpers.
McDonough joined the Havre Athletic Club team in France in 2017 and helped the team reach the French league's top division in 2020.Â
McDonough earned her bachelor's degree in psychology at Princeton in 2017 while adding a neuroscience certificate, and she went on to earn a master's degree in exercise science and health promotion with a concentration in sport psychology and rehabilitation science at California University of Pennsylvania.
