Personal: Volunteered in Cambodia, from Dec. 2019 – Dec. 2020 as an assistant working alongside nurses and doctors to provide free medical care to a small village in Toul Preach … fundraised over $3000 to provide shoes, toothbrushes, clothes and ancillary medical items for the mission … spent 10 hours a day for five days working with the team learning to communicate with both Cambodian people and volunteers … taught the children living in the village basic medical care that included brushing their teeth, cleaning their feet and washing wounds … counted and bottled medications that would be provided to over 3500 people during that week
