Reece Humphrey's career spans a trajectory of excellence and mentorship in wrestling. From 2010 to 2016, he was an Olympic Hopeful at The Ohio Olympic Regional Training Center. Transitioning to coaching, he led the Titan Mercury Wrestling Club from 2016 to 2018. Since 2018, he has been instrumental as a coach of the New Jersey Olympic Regional Training Center. He will now serve as and Assistant Coach at Princeton University, contributing his expertise to shape future wrestling champions.

As a three-time member of the USA World Team, Humphrey showcased his mastery of the sport on the international stage. His dominance extended to the US Open, where he clinched the championship title an impressive three times. Humphrey's collegiate career at The Ohio State University was equally illustrious, marked by two All-American honors that underscored his exceptional skill and dedication to excellence. His commitment to the sport is further exemplified by his achievements as a Veteran World Champion, a title he has claimed twice.
Humphrey's multifaceted contributions to wrestling, both as a competitor and a coach, make him an important addition to the Princeton wrestling program.
"I'm really excited for Reece to join the staff," said head coach Joe Dubuque. "He brings a world of knowledge, literally competing and coaching on the world level. Our guys are very comfortable working with him. He also brings a Big Ten experience, having a very successful career at Ohio State as a student-athlete. Being a national finalist and two-time all American, he can bring that Big Ten style to the room and it will be very beneficial for our Princeton student athletes."
"Joining the Princeton Wrestling coaching staff is an honor and a challenge that I am 100% ready to take on," said assistant coach Reece Humphrey. "I will continue to run the New Jersey Olympic Regional Training Center as Head Coach while simultaneously working directly with the collegiate team. Taking on both tasks has leveled up my focus and ambition toward the sport. Working alongside Head Coach Joe Dubuque and the Princeton staff has been awesome! Joe and I have been working together for years but this new endeavor has brought us closer and already helped me grow as a coach tremendously! I'm ready to work tirelessly to bring world class technique and add to the energy and good vibes the program already has. I'm grateful for this opportunity. Let's go Tigers!"
