Jason Petrone enters his second season as an assistant coach for the Princeton University sprint football team.

A 1992 graduate of the College of New Jersey with a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education, Petrone was a four-year letterwinner for the Lions, playing tight end and linebacker.

With a couple decades of high school coaching experience, he was a coach for Princeton High School from 1990-96 before enjoying an 18-year stint at West Windsor-Plainsboro (1996-2014).

Having also worked the Laird Hayes-Quarterback/Receivers camp from 1998-2012, Petrone served as the president of the Princeton Junior Football League from 2012-15.

Petrone is currently teaching physical education in the West Windsor-Plainsboro School District.
