Princeton Loses Heartbreaker To Dartmouth, 19-18

HANOVER, N.H. (AP) - Brian Mann passed for three touchdowns in the fourth quarter to bring Dartmouth back from an 18-0 deficit to a 19-18 victory over Princeton on Saturday.
Mann passed eight yards to Lee Roach with 12:22 left, then hit Roach again for 49 yards with 9:10 remaining. Finally, he threw 33 yards to Matt DeLellis with 45 seconds left for the winning score.
The victory enabled Dartmouth (2-8, 2-5 Ivy) to escape a second straight last place finish and dropped Princeton (3-7, 1-6) into last place for the first time in 23 years.
Mann completed 26 of 43 passes, including 11 of 16 in the fourth quarter, and finished with 328 yards.
Dartmouth almost didn't get a chance at the winning score as Princeton took more than seven minutes off the clock before giving up the ball on a punt with 1:48 remaining. Mann then took Dartmouth 80 yards in 63 seconds.
Princeton built its lead as Tommy Crenshaw passed 15 and 25 yards to Danny Brian for two touchdowns, Taylor Northrop kicked a 24-yard field goal and Dartmouth was called for intentional grounding in the end zone for a safety.
