Ithaca, N.Y. - Julia Beaver led a Princeton sweep of the top five matches to lead the Tigers to a 6-3 season-opening win over Cornell. All nine matches on the day were decided in three games.

The two-time defending national champion Tigers picked up wins from Beaver, Blair Irwin, Meredith Quick, Liz Kelly and Anna Minkowski in the top five matches to secure the win.

Freshman Jen Shillington won her collegiate debut in the No. 7 match.
