Princeton Falls Short at H.Y.P.

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Princeton University men's swimming and diving team traveled to Yale for the prestigious H.Y.P. meet against the hosts and Harvard. The Tigers came up short of the championships, totaling 89 points on the weekend. Harvard won the event with 205 points and Yale was second with 198.
Andy Shyong (Jr., Demarest, N.J.) shined for the Tigers, winning the one-meter and the three-meter competitions. He finished the one-meter competition with a total of 259.40 points and the three-meter event with a total of 276.25 points. Eric Carty-Fickes (Fr., Winchester, N.J.) finished second in the one-meter competition with a total of 259.40 points.
The team returns home this weekend for the season's final home meet. They take on Navy at 1:00 on Saturday, February 13th.
