- Sweep? - A win tonight would give Princeton their first four-game sweep of the Yale/Brown series since the Ivy League began double round robin play 1982-83.
- Taking control ? In the game at Harvard, Maggie Langlas scored 12
points,handed out three assists and picked up one steal in a team-high 38
minutes of play without committing a turnover.
- Center of attention ? In 12 games out of league play, senior center
LeaAnn Drohan averaged 4.3 points per game. In the eight Ivy games this
season, Drohan is scoring 9.5 each time out, including 12 last night.
- Career night ? Sophomore Emily Krone recorded career highs in points
(six), assists (two) and tied her career-high in rebounds (two) in 11
minutes of play last night against Yale.
- History lesson ? In the first meeting this season, Princeton defeated
Brown 58-54 in Providence.
- Give and go, take and go ? Against Yale, Maggie Langlas recored a team-high four assists and four steals. She leads the team in both catagories, handing out 47 assists and picking up 42 steals this season.
- Windex ? Princeton holds a 426-417 advantage on the boards in games it
has won. In their eight losses, the Tigers were out-rebounded by nearly 10
boards per game.
- On a high note ? Against the Bulldogs, Princeton shot 52.2 percent
from the floor. That is the highest game percetage for the Tigers this
season.
- Where she ranks ? Maggie Langlas ranks fourth in Ivy scoring (14.0),
fifth in Ivy field goal pct. (43%), fourth in 3-pt field goal pct (39%)
and third in free-throw pct. (85%).
- Ivy items ? Despite averaging 52.8 points in out of league
competition, the Tigers are cashing in 61.9 in Ivy action.
- D-plus ? Princeton leads the Ivy League in three defensive catagories:
scoring defense (56.5 ppg), FG% defense (0.380) and 3-point FG% defense
(0.280).
- More D ? Last night the Tiger defense allowed only five Yale field
goals in the second half. Princeton held the Bulldogs to 27.1 percent from
the floor and 2 of 12 (.167) from long range.
- Climbing the ladder ? With one block against Yale, center Lea Ann
Drohan surpassed Carol Puza ?83 for third all-time with 123 career blocks.
Next up is Joanna E. Rein who swatted 133 from 1986-90.
- Spreading the wealth ? In eight league games so far this season, the
Tigers have had four different leading scorers and four different leading
rebounders.
- Controlling the glass ? Kate Thirolf is currently third in rebounding
in both the overall Ivy standings and in-league competition, pulling down
7.42 and 8.57, respectively.
- Minute woman ? After averaging 10 minutes in the first 18 games, Erica
Bowman got the starting nod, recorded season highs in points (seven) and
rebounds (seven) in 29 minutes of play against Dartmouth.
- Injury report ? Senior tri-captain Julie Angell went down with a torn
ACL injury after scoring a team-high 18 points in the game at Harvard.
- Home sweet home ? Four of Princeton?s last six games will be played in Jadwin Gym.
