LEESBURG, V. A. - The Princeton Tigers are currently in eighth place in a field of 16 after the first round of the 1998 Hoya Invitational at Lansdowne Resort.

The Tigers hold a score of 296 on the Par 72 course. Georgetown is leading after the first round, posting a score of 283. Seton Hall is in second with 288, followed by Navy with 290 in third place.

Ben McConahey (Littleton, CO) and Judd Pritchard (Fort Worth, TX) were the top Princeton finishers, each shooting a 73 for the day.

The final round will begin on Sunday, Sept. 20, at 8:30 am in Leesburg.
