The game can also be seen live on CN8 and on RCN, which will televise the game live and on tape delay Sunday at 9 a.m. and Tuesday at 8 p.m. It can be seen at satellite coordinates KU Band, SBS 6, Transponder 8 This Week's Note of the Week Snap count -- Princeton's starting quarterback for the Penn game is still uncertain between Brian Danielewicz and Jon Blevins. Should Danielewicz start, he would become the fourth different starting quarterback in eight games this year.
Five More Notes No Media Person Should Be Without More snap -- Brian Danielewicz replaced an injured Jon Blevins (elbow) on the final drive last week against Cornell. Blevins was replacing David Splithoff (broken jaw against Harvard), who was replacing Blevins (ankle sprain against Colgate), who was replacing Tommy Crenshaw (broken wrist against Columbia).
Still more snap -- Princeton has had to replace an injured quarterback during a game three times this season. In those games, the three relief quarterbacks (Jon Blevins against Columbia, David Splithoff against Colgate, Brian Danielewicz against Cornell) are a combined 19 for 29 for 296 yards and one touchdown on seven drives. Of those seven drives, three have ended in touchdowns, one ended in a field goal and one covered 96 yards but did not result in points.
Passing fancy -- Princeton has had six different players complete a pass this season (quarterbacks Tommy Crenshaw, Jon Blevins, David Splithoff and Brian Danielewicz, receiver Chisom Opara, holder Gary Baumwoll).
More passing -- Brian Danielewicz (238.46) and David Splithoff (180.23) would each be leading Division I-AA in passing effeciency if they had enough attempts to qualify. Chisom Opara (157.10) would be second.
Still more passing -- Princeton is in the fourth week of a stretch that will see the Tigers face five of the top passers (by passing yards per game) in Division I-AA: Brown's Eric Webber (first), Harvard's Neil Rose (13th), Cornell's Rickey Rahne (fifth), Penn's Gavin Hoffman (second) and next week Yale's Peter Lee (15th).
Others receiving votes Brian's song -- After having career stats of 1 for 3 for 10 yards (the completion coming in the first half against Cornell), Brian Danielewicz was 6 for 7 for 78 yards and a touchdown on the final drive of the game against Cornell. Danielewicz's touchdown pass to Chisom Opara with 11 seconds left brought Princeton to within one, but the extra point was missed.
Keeping up with the Roser-Joneses -- Chris Roser-Jones leads the Ivy League in interceptions with five.
More Roser-Jones -- Chris Roser-Jones leads all Division I-AA linebackers in interceptions and is 11th overall. The next highest ranked linebacker is ranked 30th.
'Backer up -- Princeton's linebackers have more interceptions (six) than Princeton's defensive backs (four).
David we hardly knew ye -- David Splithoff quarterbacked Princeton for 26 drives, of which 10 ended in touchdowns and two in field goals. His passing efficiency rating of 180.23 would be leading Division I-AA had he thrown the minimum number of passes required. He also set a Princeton record with 14 consecutive completions and became the first freshman ever to be Ivy League Player of the Week. In addition, he was named ECAC Player of the Week, threw 48 passes without an interception, averaged 17.5 yards per completion and even caught one pass for 17 yards.
Phil it up -- Phil Jackman has made the transition from basketball player to defensive end. Despite never having played organized football before and not coming to the football team until one week before the season opener, Jackman has earned a spot on the two-deep. He had a sack and two tackles against Cornell.
Change of seasons -- Before Phil Jackman, the last Princeton athlete to play both football and basketball was Marvin Williams '91.
A night at the Opara -- Chisom Opara has 31 receptions, the next two Tigers (Marty Cheatham, George Citovic) combined have 32.
The Blair Morrison project -- Blair Morrison has 11 receptions, breaking the Princeton freshman record of 10 set last year by Chisom Opara.
Fresh faces -- Princeton has had six different freshman start at least one game: QB David Splithoff, WR Blair Morrison, DE Tim Kirby, DE Joseph Weiss, CB Brandon Mueller, CB Blake Perry.
Cameron crazy -- Cameron Atkinson had 37 yards on 10 carries (3.7 per carry) for the first four games of the season. He has 199 yards on 35 carries (5.7 per carry) in the last three.
Getting his kicks -- Taylor Northrop has 21 career field goals. The Princeton career record is 36, held by Alex Sierk '99. The Ivy League record is 38, held by Dave Regula (Dartmouth '98).
More kicks -- Taylor Northrop has a higher percentage on field goal attempts of at least 40 yards (.800/4 for 5) than he does on field goal attempts of fewer than 40 yards (.667/6 for 9).
Be like Mike -- Only four players have led Princeton in tackles for a season since 1993: Dave Patterson (1993-95), Tim Greene (1996, 1997), Jim Salters (1998) and Mike Higgins (1999, leading in 2000).
Top of the line -- Dennis Norman, first-team All-Ivy the last two years, has a chance to join Derek Graham '85, Damani Leech '98 and Matt Evans '99 as Princeton's only three-time first-team All-Ivy selections.
Spread it around -- Princeton has 16 sacks, 12 different players have at least one.
Progress-ing -- With three Ivy games remaining to be played, Princeton has already eclipsed last year's league win total.
Fan-tastic -- Princeton has drawn 53,532 fans for three home games and 21,109 for four road games.
No place like home -- The home team has won all seven Penn games this season.
More home -- Princeton Stadium has a natural grass surface. Penn is 4-0 and averaging 44 points per game on artificial turf and 0-3 and averaging 17 points per game on natural grass.
Taylor made -- Taylor Smith had seven tackles in the first four games. He has 20 in the last three.
History lesson -- Penn has won six of the last seven and 11 of the last 17 games in the series.
More history -- Due to the roughness of the 1894 game between Penn and Princeton, the teams did not meet for the next 41 years.
