The Princeton women's basketball team endured a rough debut under interim coach Kevin Morris as Lehigh rolled to a 64-38 win over the Tigers Tuesday night at Stabler Arena.
Patriot League Rookie of the Year Anne Tierney had 14 points and 12 rebounds and freshman Teniece Johnson added 12 points to lead Lehigh.
Princeton was led by Alison Cahill's 11 points.
Lehigh trailed 17-15 with 3:23 left in the first half, then scored the final 12 points of the half to take a 27-17 lead. The Mountain Hawks led by as much as 31 points in the second half and forced 23 turnovers.
The road doesn't get much easier for Princeton, who plays in a tournament at Oregon State this weekend. The Tigers, who were 9-19 last season, face the host Beavers in Friday's semifinals at 10:05 p.m.
