Men's Water Polo Takes Two Wins In Southerns

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The men's water polo team earned themselves two wins in as many games at the Southern Championships held at Navy.
With a day and a half of competition left, the Tigers started the weekend with a 14-0 win over Penn State-Behrend. Rob Saperstein (Portola Valley, Calif.), Dan Holligan (Walnut Creek, Calif.) and Chris Lesser (San Diego, Calif.) each scored three goals to lead Princeton, while Drew Jones (Palos Verdes, Calif.) and David Sertich (Orinda, Calif.) followed with two apiece.
Goalkeeper Kevin Murray (San Diego, Calif.) played the first half in goal and made four saves. He was relieved in the second half by Garth Fealey (Cinncinnati, Ohio), who also made four saves.
In the Tiger's second game of the tournament, they defeated Johns Hopkins 13-5. Chris Gratian (Modesto, Calif.) led all Princeton scorers with three goals. Kevin Foster (Davis, Calif.), Dan McKenna (Wyndmoor, Pa.) and Marshall Roslyn (Philadelphia, Pa.) each tallied two goals apiece.
Jon Pharris (Newport Beach, Calif.) started in goal and made six saves before being relieved by Murray in the fourth quarter. Murray finished the game with three saves.
