Women's Basketball Ends North Carolina Trip With A Loss

WILMINGTON, N.C. - The Princeton women's basketball team lost its ninth game of the season to UNC Wilmington 65-42 on Thursday night at Trask Coliseum in Wilmington, N.C.
Sophomore forward Lee Culp, a High Point, N.C. native, led the Tigers with 15 points and 15 rebounds. Culp connected on five of her eight field goal attempts and was a perfect 4-4 from the foul line. Junior Hillary Reser scored nine points in the game on three three-pointers.
At halftime Princeton trailed by eight points as the team shot 47.1% (8-17) from the field and 55.6% (5-9) from behind the three-point arc. The hot shooting cooled off in the second half as the team connected on only 28.6% (6-21) of its attempts.
The Tigers will not play again until they face Providence College at home in Jadwin Gym on Dec. 31 (2 p.m.).
