Water Polo Surges to 8-4 Record

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Robert Urquhart (Ann Arbor, Mich.) scored a total of seven goals in a pair of wins over Bucknell (17-4) and Johns Hopkins (17-4) for the Tigers on Saturday afternoon.
Urquhart started the day with a five-goal performance against Bucknell. He later showed his versatility in the water by relieving starting goalkeeper Jon Pharris (Newport Beach, Calif.) in the fourth quarter, where he picked up three saves to secure the victory. Against Johns Hopkins, Urquhart netted two goals and relieved Pharris in the fourth quarter once again. He collected one save in the 17-4 win.
Pharris picked up eight saves before being relieved in the first game and made nine in the second.
Against Bucknell, Kevin Foster (Davis, Calif.), Marshall Roslyn (Philadelphis, Pa.) and D.J. Halliday (Orinda, Calif.) each scored two goals a piece. Trevor Walsh (Laguna Beach, Calif.), Chris Armato (Long Beach, Calif.), Drew Jones (Palos Verdes, Calif.), Chris Gratian (Modesto, Calif.) and Forrest Christo (Davis, Calif.) added one each.
In the second game against Johns Hopkins, Foster netted four goals to lead the Tigers and Gratian added three more. Roslyn, Walsh and Jones combined for two scores each and Jimmy Orozco (San Mateo, Calif.) rounded out the offensive attack with one.
