Water Polo Drops Tough Decision To Navy

LEWISBURG, Pa. - After winning four straight games, the Princeton water polo team was defeated by Navy 14-13.
With the game tied at 13-13, Navy attacked Princeton for the final goal of the game, a game-winner with 44 seconds remaining to give Navy the one point advantage and the win.
Robert Urquhart (Ann Arbor, Mich.) and Chris Gratian (Modesto, Calif.) paced the Tigers offensively combining for nine goals. Urquhart scored five goals and Gratian added four.
Additional offensive support came from Marshall Roslyn (Philadelphia, Pa.), Trevor Walsh (Laguna Beach, Calif.) and Dan McKenna (Wyndmoor, Pa.). Roslyn netted two goals while Walsh and McKenna scored one apiece.
Princeton (9-5), will return home and host the North/South Invitational at DeNunzio Pool on Saturday, Sept. 30 - Sunday, Oct. 1.
