Julia Beaver took two steps towards erasing the only blemish on an otherwise perfect last two seasons Saturday afternoon.

Beaver, whose only loss as a junior was in the Constable Invitational, knocked off Harvard's Margaret Elias and Penn's Runa Reta in the quarterfinals and semifinals of this year's event.

Beaver will face Trinity's Nina Hehal in Sunday's noon final at Jadwin Gym of the 22nd annual Constable Invitational. Hehal eliminated Princeton's Meredeth Quick 3-2 in the quarterfinals.

Beaver, the 1999 and 2000 national collegiate champion, defeated Elias 3-1 and Reta 3-0.
