Villanova, Pa. Princeton softball traveled to Villanova to compete against the Wildcats and the Hawks of St. Joseph's on Saturday, October 13. This weekend's games should give the Tigers an idea of the competition that they will face in the spring as both Villanova and St. Joseph's are on the spring schedule.
Last season the Tigers split a doubleheader against Villanova dropping the first game 3-0 and picking up a 6-2 victory in the second game.
The Tigers split the games played against Villanova, winning the first 3-1, and losing the second 5-3. Princeton lost a close match to St. Joseph's 1-0.
