The Tigers got a little help in the first half when a long Princeton ball played into the box went off the head of Brown's Kelly Smith and into the back of the Bears' goal at 33:04. Brown evened the score, early in the second half, when Kim Hagner slipped the ball past Princeton keeper, Catherine Glenn (Sr. Jacksonville, Fla.) at 69:17. Princeton answered quickly and deadly, scoring two goals in the next five minutes.
Sherry took a rebound off a blocked shot and put the Tigers up 2-1 at 69:41, 24 seconds after Brown evened the score. Minutes later, Sherry took a cross from the right side and found the back of the net at 74:45. Krista Ariss (Jr. Burlington, Ontario) and Kristina Fontanez (Fr. Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) were credited with the assists.
Rochelle Willis (Fr. Unionville, Ontario) scored the final goal of the game when, from nearly 35 yards out, she put the ball over Bear goalie Sarah Gervais to put the Tigers up 4-1.
Princeton out-shot the Bears 16-6. Glenn registered one save in the victory.
Sherry has scored three goals in the last two games and shares the top-spot with Fontanez on the Tiger roster with five goals this season.
