Defending Champ Penn Tops Princeton In Women's Squash

Defending national champion Penn defeated Princeton 6-3 in women's squash at Jadwin Gym Thursday evening.
Princeton's loss dropped the Tigers to 1-2 in the Ivy League, while Penn improved to 3-0.
Meredeth Quick (No. 2), Anna Minkowski (No. 6) and Rebecca Gutner (No. 7) were the winners for Princeton.
Tiger No. 1 Julia Beaver, the two-time defending individual national champion, lost to Penn's Runa Reta for her first-ever dual meet loss.
Princeton is at Yale Saturday and at Amherst with Amherst and Williams Sunday.
