STILLWATER, Okla. - Roy York's lucky number was three. The Oklahoma State leftfielder hit back-to-back-to back home runs in the final game of a three-game series with Princeton on Sunday. York's homers scored the last four runs for Oklahoma State before the game was called in the seventh inning due to rain. OSU (16-3) defeated Princeton (1-3) 10-1 in a complete game for the sweep.
Sean McNally reached third base on a triple and scored on an error in the third inning for Princeton's only run of the game.
Chris Higgins pitched five innings for the Tigers giving up nine runs on eight hits. He struck out one. Bill Broom pitched two innings in relief giving up one run on two hits.
Princeton will travel to Conway, S.C., for a three game series with Coastal Carolina March 17-19.
