John Raveche and Ross Tucker signed NFL free agent contracts Monday, pushing to three the number of Princeton offensive linemen who will be in training camps this summer.
Raveche, who signed with the New York Giants, and Tucker, who signed with the Washington Redskins, join Dennis Norman, who was drafted in the seventh round of this past weekend's draft by the Seattle Seahawks.
Before Norman, the last Princeton football player to have been drafted was Judd Garrett in the 1990 draft. Between Garrett's selection and this season, Princeton had only one player, Keith Elias, in an NFL camp. Elias played for the Giants and Colts in his NFL career.
Raveche was a two-year starter at tackle opposite Norman, and the 6' 5", 305-pound Raveche was an honorable mention All-Ivy League selection as a senior. Tucker started at defensive end as a freshman and offensive guard his final three years, earning second-team All-Ivy honors as a senior.
