Philosophy: Diving is both a TEAM and individual sport. Individually you have goals and aspirations you hope to achieve while in college. It is the job of the coaching staff to encourage, support and guide you in the preparation phase of accomplishing these goals. Training is quality vs. quantity. Improving one's technique is the #1 priority. Effective communication makes this possible. I have found that the athlete who selects Princeton is already dedicated to excellence and possesses a strong work ethic.
Visiting the Princeton Campus: You must present a High School transcript and a copy of your SAT Reasoning test scores prior to an official visit to any collegiate institution. Unofficial visits may be made at any time.
Financial Aid: Students are admitted without regard to their family financial circumstances and Princeton provides 100 percent of determined need. The University "Early Estimator" calculator enables families to get a preliminary idea of the amount and type of aid that Princeton might offer. This calculator can be found online at the following website: www.princeton.edu/pr/aid/html/est.html. Princeton undergraduates who receive financial aid no longer obtain loans, which previously were made available in an effort to help the student pay for their education. The loan program has now been replaced with additional Scholarship support. With no athletic scholarship available to student-athletes of Ivy League institutions, swimmers and divers participate in the team effort for the shear love of the sport.
