Huestis Leads Men's Golf At James Madison Invitational

HARRISONBURG, VA. - Freshman David Huestis (Columbus, Ohio) shot a 3-under par 68 to lead the Tigers to a team total of 289 on the first day of the James Madison Invitational. Huestis, who finished the day tied for fourth, trails leader Josh Dawes of Penn State by three strokes. As a team, the Tigers currently sit in a three-way tie for sixth place with George Mason and Towson, 11 shots behind Penn State.
Senior James Milam (Idaho Falls, Idaho) carded a 1-over par 72 for the Tigers second best round of the day. Juniors Cassidy Traub (Long Beach, Calif.) and Nat Hoopes (Marion, Mass.) shot scores of 74 and 75 respectively for the defending Ivy League champions. The tournament, Princeton's second of the season, will conclude tomorrow.
