Pharris Named CWPA Southern Division Varsity Player Of The Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Senior co-captain Jon Pharris (Newport Beach, Calif.) has been named the Collegiate Water Polo Association Southern Division Varsity Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 23.
Pharris had a great weekend as Princeton opened the CWPA portion of its schedule with four wins. He finished with 15 saves in the Tigers' 8-2 win over Navy and made 14 stops in a 9-5 win at Bucknell.
Princeton, ranked No. 14 in the CWPA poll of Sept. 19, will host the 10-team North/South Invitational this weekend at DeNunzio Pool. Play will open on Friday, Sept. 28 when the Tigers meet Harvard at 8 p.m.
