PRINCETON, N.J. - Fans who purchased tickets to the Sept. 15 Princeton vs. Lafayette football game that was cancelled have three options. Princeton also announced that fans at upcoming games will not be permitted to bring backpacks, bags, coolers or other such containers into Princeton Stadium.
Fans have the following options regarding their Princeton vs. Lafayette tickets:
(1) obtain a "refund receipt" by presenting their Princeton vs. Lafayette tickets to a ticket office representative by Nov. 16 ... this can be done via mail, at the Jadwin Gymnasium ticket office or by visiting a designated Princeton Stadium "refund" window during a football game ... refund checks will be issued in late November
(2) exchange their tickets for another home football game - Colgate (Oct. 6), Cornell (Oct. 27) or Yale (Nov. 10) ... this can be done via mail or at the Jadwin Gymnasium ticket office
(3) donate the cost of their tickets to the American Red Cross' Liberty Fund to benefit the victims of the Sept. 11 attack ... the donation will be made in the ticket holder's name and is tax deductible ... ticket holders do not need to respond to select this option.
After Nov. 16 refunds will no longer be processed. Any remaining ticket receipts related to the Princeton vs. Lafayette game will be contributed as a tax-deductible donation in the ticket holder's name to the American Red Cross' Liberty Fund.
For additional information contact the Princeton athletics ticket office, Jadwin Gymnasium, Princeton University, Princeton, NJ 08544-0071, or call 609-258-3538. The ticket office is open Monday - Thursday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Friday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
