Bradley Named To ACC 50th Anniversary Baseball Team

Princeton Head Coach Scott Bradley was recently named to the Atlantic Coast Conference 50th Anniversary Baseball Team.
The team, named in conjunction with the league's 50th anniversary. It includes 52 members from the nine league institutions.
Scott Bradley will begin his sixth year as the head coach of the Princeton baseball team this spring. He is a 1982 graduate of the University of North Carolina. He spent nine seasons as a lefthanded-hitting catcher in the major leagues for the New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox, Seattle Mariners and Cincinnati Reds.
Bradley was the second pick of the Yankees (future NFL Hall of Famer John Elway was their first pick) in the 1981 draft. He broke into the major leagues wearing Yankee pinstripes in 1984 and stayed in the majors until retiring in 1992. Bradley played 604 games in the big leagues, hitting .257 with 18 home runs and 184 RBIs in 1,648 at bats. He also played outfield, third base and was a designated hitter.
Other players named to the team include Kevin Brown, J.D. Drew, Nomar Garciaparra, Jimmy Key, Quinto McCracken, Scott Schoeneweis, Billy Spiers, B.J. Surhoff, Jason Varitek and Walt Weiss.
