Tigers Close Out The Fall With A Third-Place Showing At Georgetown

Leesburg, Va. - Senior Cassidy Traub shot rounds of 70 and tied for fourth overall as he led Princeton's men's golf team to a third-place finish at the Georgetown Hoya Invitational at the Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, Va.
Traub finished the two-day tournament with a score of 140, two strokes better than freshman Jason Gerken, who scored a 142 to take ninth overall. Gerken shot the low round of the tournament for Princeton with a 69 on Monday.
David Huestis finished tied for 25th with rounds of 78-71, Greg Johnson took 34th with rounds of 75 and Creighton Page finished tied for 53rd with a 156.
Penn State won the tournament with a team total of 560, East Carolina took second with a 570. Host Georgetown finished right behind Princeton, in fourth place with a 585.
The Tigers are off for the winter before returning for their spring season in April. Princeton ended the fall campaign with three Top-3 finishes and a fourth place showing in their five tounaments.
