The men's tennis team fell 6-1 to Virginia Tech in the semifinals of the 2002 ECAC Tournament, held at the U.S. National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadow, N.Y. The Tigers advanced to the semifinals following wins over Rutgers and Cornell in previous rounds.
Princeton's lone point came from sophomore David Gopstein who one 6-2, 7-6 (2) at fifth singles over Michael Kurz.
