Women's Golf Team Places Fifth At Penn State Invitational

State College, Pa. - Sophomores Avery Kiser and Meg Nakamura each finished among the Top-10 individuals at the Penn State Invitational as Princeton took fifth after a final-round score of 315 on Sunday afternoon. The Tigers shot a 54-hole team total 935 over the two-day invitational at State College, Pa.
Penn State won the team title with a three-round total of 902. Rollins College and James Madison both shot a 911 to tie for second while East Carolina placed fourth with a 922. Kiser finished fifth overall with rounds of 75-78-73. Katie Futcher of Penn State took medalist honors with a two-day score of 220.
Nakamura shot rounds of 76-78-74 to finish tied for seventh among all individuals. Princeton will be in action next weekend when it competes in the ECAC Championship tournament.
