Junior cornerback Blake Perry did it all for the Princeton defense Saturday at Columbia, and he was rewarded by being named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week. Perry's efforts led Princeton to a 35-32 win over the Lions.
Perry was all over the stat sheet after his third start of the season. He recorded 11 tackles, including eight solo stops, three tackles for a loss, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, a pass breakup and a sack as the Tigers won their third straight League game. Perry, who started every game as a freshman, was sidelined midway through last season with two broken wrists.
Perry and the Tigers return home Saturday to face Colgate at 1 p.m.
