Gaudiel Named ECAC Rookie of the Week

Roxanne Gaudiel was named the ECAC Rookie of the Week today, following her 21 save performance against Colgate on Friday night at Baker Rink.
Making her first career start in net, Gaudiel posted a win and helped Princeton improve its record to 4-0-0 by the end of the weekend. Gaudiel, a freshman from Venice, Fla., allowed only one goal in the game, which came on a Colgate power-play.
Teammates Andrea Kilbourne, Angela Gooldy and Megan Van Beusekom were named to the ECAC Honor Roll. Kilbourne and Gooldy each recorded hat tricks over the weekend, while Van Beusekom earned her second consecutive shutout of the season on Saturday against Cornell.
The Tigers (4-0-0) resume play this weekend for a pair of non-conference games at New Hampshire.
