Men's Soccer Falls At Cornell

Ithaca, N.Y. - Cornell's Peter Lynch scored in the 77th minute to give the Big Red a 1-0 win over the Princeton Tigers in cold, snowy Ithaca, N.Y. on Saturday night. The Tigers had outshot Cornell 16-7 and won the corner kick battle, 6-3. In the end, however, Cornell was able to slip away with the victory, leaving Princeton at 1-3-1 in the Ivy League.
The Tigers had six shots on goal, five in the second half. Cornell's Nate Dunlop was there to make the saves for the Big Red, recording his second shutout of the season. Erik White started in goal for Princeton, earning two saves in 90 minutes of action.
Princeton falls to 3-8-4 on the year and plays its home finale this Saturday, Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m. against rival Pennsylvania. The Tigers are 2-2-3 at home this year and are 1-1-1 at home against Ivy League opponents.
