The American Water Polo Coaches Association has released the 2001-2002 Men's All-Academic team. As a team, the men's program had the fourth-highest GPA amongst all the nations' varsity teams and had a total of nine athletes honored.
Marshall Roslyn, Derrick Wong, Andrew Read-Fuller, Dan Holligan, and Michael Murray all received a "superior" ranking for their academic achievements. David Sertich, Sean Mcintire, Jon Pharris and D.J. Halliday all received an "excellent" ranking.
For Roslyn, the team's senior captain this year, this is the second consecutive time that he has been honored on the AWPCA All-Academic team. Princeton's cumulative grade-point-average of 3.11 placed the Tigers behind St. Francis, George Washington and Brown.
